Not to be confused with February 8th's National Drink Day, National Wine Day is all about celebrating the character and versatility of wine. Wine is said to have been created early in human history, with the birth year of the oldest existing bottle of wine found in Germany dating back to 325 AD. Though gone are the days when wine was made by treading grapes by foot, today's wine making still requires patience and a dedication to detail.
Not only is wine healthy in moderation, reducing your risk of heart disease and maybe even cancer, wine can be adapted for everything from appetizers to main courses to desserts or you can even send wine as a gift.
