Celebrate with Chinese Delicacies on Chung Yuan Festival on August 28

Chinese cuisine is a firm favorite here at Dishfolio, whether it's from a local takeout, a fancy, high-class Asian restaurant or our very own kitchens! China doesn't have a national dish because it is such a vast and varied country, but at the Chung Yeung Festival it is traditional to eat roast suckling pig and fruit.

Today, Chinese food is popular the world over. From national favorites to family recipes, it's easy to find great Chinese food near you. When the first Chinese restaurants opened in America in the 19th century, they catered mainly to Chinese immigrants, but they have become vastly popular with Americans too.

Did you know that sweet and sour pork is the most popular Chinese dish amongst both Americans and Chinese people? The rich colors and exciting textures of Chinese cuisine make it the focus of lots of beautiful food photography.
