We cook a dish that travels us to Santorini! Fava is made from the yellow split peas. The one I used today is cultivated in the volcanic island of Santorini and is a protected designation of origin product. It is served either as a dip or as main dish along with sundried tomatoes, capers and onions. I served it with portobellos loaded with veggies and the above mentioned ingredients. The result was a delicious meal, greek, healthy and earthy!
