The book 'Alice in Wonderland' has been a favourite of ours since childhood and, although we’re now grown-ups. this fantasy-land of talking animals, tea parties and nonsense is every bit as irresistibly charming to us now. Wouldn’t it be lovely, we’ve always thought, if we could bring a little bit of that magic to our every day lives? So we decided to do just that by making our own version of the mini ‘EAT ME’ cake featured at the beginning of the book. Our recipe based on a traditional Victorian era applesauce cake.
