April 6th: Bottom's Up, Let us enjoy New Beers Eve with these Amazing Recipes
On the night of April 6, 1933, Americans lined up waiting for stores to open so they can buy and taste beer for the very first time in 13 years. Alcoholic beverages were completely prohibited at the start of the 1920s due to the 18th amendment of the American constitution. But after thirteen years, then President Lincoln enacted a new bill that would legalize beer that should have at lower that 3.25% alcohol level. This bill was signed on March 23 and stores began selling beer once more on April 7th, 1933. This is why April 6th was celebrated as the eve of beers.
In celebration of this momentous event, New Beers eve was born. Dishfolio food bloggers commemorate this day by featuring beer recipes that are not only delicious but are a food stylist's dream.
