In a cake, pie, or cup, chocolate pudding is a classic American dessert. In some ways, the pudding can be compared to chocolatey custard. Times certainly have changed in recent years, especially considering that the 1800s saw the pudding regarded as a superfood to aid good health. Many people are now getting imaginative with their recipes at home, using dark or white chocolate instead of the standard milk variety.
Although it is easy to buy in stores, there's certainly a satisfaction to making your own in the comfort of home and make use of the pudding dish you never take out.
