December 15: Explore Dutch Cuisine on Kingdom Day in the Netherlands
Kingdom Day or more popularly known as Koninkrijksdag in the Netherlands is celebrated on the 15th of December in the Dutch nation to commemorate the signing of Charter for the Kingdom of the Netherlands between Aruba, Curacao, the Netherlands and Sint Maarten. The charter establishes and governs the relationships between the Netherlands and various overseas territories.
